GROUNDBREAKING CELEBRATION SET FOR MARSH STREET COMMONS                
                                                       

SAN LUIS OBISPO – A groundbreaking celebration will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 8, at the site of Marsh Street Commons, a new mixed-use development in downtown San Luis Obispo.

The event, taking place on the southeast corner of Marsh and Nipomo streets, will feature a short program of guest speakers
and light hors d’oeuvres.

Marsh Street Commons will offer high-end residential, retail, office and restaurant uses.

Four 2-bedroom, 2-bath lofts will be offered, ranging from 1,435 to 1,630 square feet; and eight single-family homes ranging from 1,623 to 1,869 square feet with high-end amenities.

Construction is expected to begin this summer and to be completed in the spring of 2013.

The lofts will provide a “downtown” living experience with all of the conveniences and amenities of new construction. Special features include balconies and outdoor patio “living rooms,” stained concrete floors, 12-foot ceilings and exposed beams.

The single-family homes will also offer upper and lower balconies and patios, and interiors will feature upgrades including 10-foot ceilings and two-car garages; complete appliance packages; and wood floors throughout.
